HADCO invites tenants to a second informational meeting about it's plan to convert public housing units to project-based Section 8. Tenants who were unable to attend the first meeting and those who have additional questions about the process are encouraged to attend. This meeting is optional. We will mail out a recap of the questions
The Housing Authority of Douglas County offices will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday.
At the May 29, 2025, HADCO Board of Commissioners meeting will include a public hearing to discuss a change to HADCO's annual plan regarding its application to convert its public housing units to project-based Section 8 assistance. The conversion was already adopted into the annual plan, but utilizing a different conversion option (Streamlined Voluntary Conversion)
The HADCO/DMPM Resident Advisory Board (RAB) meetings occur on the third Thursday of each month. RAB meetings are open to the public.
The HADCO Board of Commissioners meeting occurs the fourth Thursday of each month with occasional changes due to holidays. Board of Commissioners meetings are open to the public.
The Housing Authority of Douglas County offices will be closed on Thursday, July 3rd for staff training. The offices will reopen for normal business hours after the holiday weekend.
